House Fire in O’Hara Twp
2/11/2021 – Shortly before 1AM, crews were dispatched to the 1000 Block of Saxonburg Blvd in O’Hara Twp. A neighbor called into the Allegheny County 9-1-1 center and reported that her neighbor’s house was on fire. 260 Truck arrived on scene, laddered two sides of the structure, then entered the house to conduct a search and locate the fire. The Truck crew remained inside to assist with extinguishment and overhaul operations. 260 Engine arrived on scene shortly after the Truck and secured a secondary water supply and laid supply line into Pleasant Valley’s (217) Engine. Crews began picking up around 4AM and Cherry City was placed back in service after cleanup at 5:30AM.
