One Person Stuck in Floodwaters

08:17 – Nearly 2″ of rain fell within about a 45 minute time frame this morning, causing the roadway in the 800 Block of Seavey Rd to become impassable. During this flooding, Crews from Cherry City and Millvale were dispatched for a vehicle stuck in floodwaters.  Upon arrival by 260 Rescue, the occupant was already assisted out of the vehicle by police.  Fire remained on scene for traffic control until the DPW could get barricades set up for a road closure.  Please Remember… If you see a flooded roadway in front of you, TURN AROUND… DON’T DROWN!
