Cherry City & Bauerstown Combined Vehicle Rescue Training

This evening, the 260 volunteers headed down to Bauerstown VFD for a vehicle rescue training.  Crews from Bauerstown trained with the equipment off of Cherry City and Cherry City trained with Bauerstown’s Equipment.  The crews practiced vehicle stabilization, usage of hydraulic and Edraulics (Electric Hurst Brand Jaws of Life) and using the Rhyno brand windshield cutter.  The night was topped off with crews from both stations taking one side of a car and removing the doors, windshield, and conducting a dashboard lift.  We would like to thank the Bauerstown VFD for the invitation for this training exercise!
