Odor in a Building in Millvale

Shortly after 3PM, the volunteers were dispatched into Millvale for an odor inside of a business on Grant Ave. 260 Truck crew split and metered the first division and the subdivision of the building. No readings were found, however an odor of some solvent lingered in the building. Crews checked a garage in the rear and found the same odor there as well. It was determined that this smell could be coming from something dumped down someone’s storm drain and the crews began flushing out the sewers. All units were clear after over an hour as the smell began to dissipate.
