Vehicle Into A House on Seavey Rd in Shaler

17:48 – 260, 149 (Etna VFD) and 259 (Bauerstown) were dispatched to the 500 Block of Seavey Rd for a report of a vehicle that struck a house. 260 Assistant arrived and gave a report of a single vehicle that struck a porch of a house, shearing one of the pillars that hold the porch up. The driver was out of the vehicle with police and fortunately, nobody was home at the time of the incident. The assignment was held to 260 only and we handled a minor containment detail and assisted the homeowner with cleaning up some debris from his porch.
