Apartment Fire on Hugel Dr in the First Due

Fire units were dispatched to the 200 blk of Hugel Drive for an apartment fire. 260 Captain arrived with smoke showing and a fire in the kitchen. 260 truck performed a primary search of the apartment and Rescue-Engine 191 advanced an attack line into the apartment. Trucks 264/247 began evacuating the entire apartment building. Engine 102 established a water supply into 191RE. Other crews on scene assisted with ladders, ventilation, and utility control. There were no injuries and cause of the fire is being investigated by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s office.
