House Fire – Cherry City Responds on a Special Request

At Noon today, 260 Truck was added for additional manpower for a house on fire in the 500 blk of Dorseyville Road in O’Hara Township. First arriving crews arrived with heavy smoke from the roof and quickly realized that they had a working basement fire. 260 truck alongside 149 (Etna) engine made the push to extinguish the fire in the second floor. Crews were on scene for about 3 hours. Cause of the fire is under investigation by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s office.
