Building Fire in the First Due

Tonight, 260 Truck, while returning home from a call on 18th St in Sharpsburg, were alerted for a fire in a building on Mt Vernon Drive in Shaler, just up from the firehouse. Upon arrival, 149EN and 260TK crews made initial entry and found the garage area of the structure on fire, getting a quick knock on the fire and preventing any spreading to adjacent parts of the building. Additional crews from 264, 102, and 259 assisted with overhauling the garage area and checking for extension. The fire was held to the room of origin.
