Commercial Fire in Ross Township

10/17/2024 – 260 truck was special requested into Ross for a large commercial building fire in the 3100 blk of Babcock Blvd. 260 truck with 6 took side Charlie by themselves and began throwing ladders, setting the aerial up and getting fed by 252 engine. 260 truck also pulled an 1.75 attack line and began making a push into the fire. Crews had to back out due to an interior collapse. Truck set up the master stream and knocked all visible fire. Crews were on scene for 4 hours. This marks the 15th working fire of the year and call number 450 so far this year.
