Tanker Truck Rollover and Spill in Etna

260 Rescue, Truck, Squad, and Boats assisted multiple agencies and Allegheny County Emergency Services in a tractor trailer fire with a major fuel leak on Route 28 Southbound in Etna. 260 crews just finished up a vehicle fire in our first due when we were added to assist with the fuel spill.

260 crews staged at the Storage Express on Hafner Ave and deployed their swift water rescue team into Pine Creek along with Blawnox VFD and used pig tails and a water containment boom to collect the fuel from going into the River. It is not known how many gallons of fuel spilled into the creek or river. Crews were on scene for about 4 hours.
