Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries!

Just a friendly reminder that on Sunday, March 8th at 2AM, we will once again be changing our clocks FORWARD an hour. We get it, it isn’t the most useful thing in todays society, but here at Cherry City and many other fire companies around the nation, we use it as a tool to ensure EVERYONE changes their batteries in their smoke detectors! It takes about a minute to do and can SAVE YOUR LIFE! So, if you happen to be a shift worker, we send our sympathies for the long night! For everyone else, enjoy the extra hour of sleep!
