Car Crashed into Pine Creek in Etna

Reports of a vehicle that crashed into Pine Creek near the 7-11 in Etna came pouring into the Allegheny County 9-1-1 Center. Etna VFD (149) was first dispatched to the call and quickly realized that this was going to be an involved detail so Company 260 was added to the assignment for Rescue/Water Rescue. 149 units reported that there were 2 occupants trapped in the vehicle. Upon arrival, 260 water technicians entered the water and extricated both victims via boat. Occupants suffered minor injuries.
260 water technicians stayed on scene and assisted Ferra’s with towing the vehicle out of the creek.
