Structural Firefighting Training

The volunteers continued training on the acquired house in Shaler this evening. Focuses were placed on nearly all aspects of structural firefighting, including fire suppression, search & rescue, Outside Ventilation, hydraulic ventilation and Rapid Intervention.

Also, check out the new gear that we have purchased for 3 of our firefighters (The Black/Green gear)! We received a state grant (PEMA) a few months ago and that funding went towards 3 complete sets of turn-out gear (Structural firefighting gear)!
