Cherry City VFC Participates in Charity Softball Tournament

The volunteers, family and friends woke up early this morning for an 8:00AM start for their first game in the annual Bill Novak Softball Tournament in Blawnox. The team showed a lot of heart but were defeated in the first two games, eliminating them from contention in the remainder of the tournament. Despite being eliminated, the team remained good spirited and had a great time for this great cause put on by Blawnox’s Fire Captain, Rick Lee. We hope to be there again next year (and with some more practice before hand!).
