House Fire in Shaler

Company 260 was alerted for a residential house fire with reported 2 people trapped. First arriving units reported a working fire and everyone accounted for. Truck 260 staffed with 6 took second due truck responsibilities and laddered all 4 sides of the building. Once completed, crews were tasked with searches, stretching a back up line, and overhaul. Crews were on scene for roughly 2 hours. Cause of the fire is being investigated by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s office.

260 had 11 volunteers respond to this incident. This marks the 20th working fire this year and back to back working fires over the weekend.
