Truck Rollover on 62nd St Bridge

This evening around 9:30PM, a truck hauling some corrosive materials ended up rollong over on the 62nd St Bridge. Crews from multiple agencies worked diligintly to contain a spill of Lactic Acid. Southern Allegheny Valley Emergency Services, Etna VFD, Cherry City VFC, Allegheny County Hazmat, City of Pittsburgh Hazmat and City of Pittsburgh Fire were all on scene for at least 7 hours assisting with the material containment. A clean-up company was called in to finish all environmental issues related to the crash. The bridge was eventually re-opened after noon on the 7th
