Fire With Initial Entrapment In Millvale Borough

Around 22:30 hours on the 24th of February, 2026, calls came in for an apartment on fire in the 100 blk of Grant Ave in Millvale. 191 LT and Police arrived with a working building fire with multiple occupants trapped.

260 truck assumed the first due truck and began forcible entry and primary search in the other apartments. After verifying all apartments were clear of occupants, all crews worked extensively to chase fire in void spaces and through the roof of the building as the fire spread rapidly through the building. Crews worked for many hours into the morning to chase hidden fire and overhaul.

260 units cleared the scene around 3am. The Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
