House Fire on Wallace Rd in Shaler

Just after 10pm last night, fire units were dispatched to the 0 blk of Wallace Road in our first due. Police arrived on scene with smoke and fire in the walls/attic space. 260 truck was first arriving and used a water can to quickly extinguish the fire and began opening up with hooks with 191RE. 259RQ pulled an attack line but was never utilized. Fire was brought under control within minutes of the truck’s arrival. Allegheny County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
