Structure Fire in Etna
The volunteers were dispatched just after 7 this morning for a house fire in the 300 Block of Butler St in Etna Borough. The truck crew was assigned initially for a search inside of the building and then were tasked with going to the roof and performing vertical ventilation. The pumper crews had a quick knock on the fire within minutes. This marks the first working fire of the new year and fortunately there were no injuries. The fire is under investigation by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s Office.
